Asma Khan stars on BBC One’s Celebrity MasterChef
Asma Khan, author of AMMU: Indian Home-Cooking To Nourish Your Soul (Ebury Press, March 2022), stars on BBC One’s Celebrity MasterChef, alongside Greg Wallace, John Torode, and a host of competing celebrities.
Asma, owner and head chef of the critically acclaimed Darjeeling Express restaurant in London, will set the celebrities a culinary challenge.
Of the experience of being on the show, Asma said:
‘Thank you so much for having me @MasterChefUK This was both an exhilarating & frightening experience in equal measure-I wanted all the contestants to excel. All the recipes they cooked mean so much to me-I was so nervous watching them cook under pressure-tonight 8pm on @BBCOne.’
