Martin MacInnes is from Inverness. His work has featured in The White Review, Ambit, 3:AM, and many other magazines. He has read at international science and literature festivals, held a residency at Cove Park, and is the winner of the Manchester Fiction Prize and a Scottish Book Trust New Writers Award. His debut novel, INFINITE GROUND, was published by Atlantic Books in August 2016 to widespread critical acclaim. It was selected as a best book of the year in the Guardian, the Irish Times, the Herald, Scotland on Sunday, and others – and won a Somerset Maugham Award from the Society of Author’s in 2017. It was published in the US by Melville House.
