Joe Minihane is a freelance journalist, currently based in Brighton. He trained at the Cardiff Journalism School and went on to work for a variety of lifestyle magazines in London before striking out on his own in 2009. Today he writes mostly about travel, but has covered everything from smartphone launches to car ads in order to pay the bills and find time for bigger writing projects. FLOATING, his first book, was published in April 2017 by Duckworth.
